The first market of the 2026–27 school year will be held on Thursday, September 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Farmville Sports Arena.

We know that sometimes students need to stay home to rest and recover. When illness keeps your child out of school, we understand! When your student returns, please remember to send a parent note or doctor’s note explaining the absence. This helps us keep your child’s attendance record accurate. Give them the time they need to get well, but remember—every school day matters. Once they’re feeling better and ready to return, we want them back in class, learning and connected. 💜 Rest. Recover. Who says learning the real number system has to happen with just numbers on a page? Our PECMS students brought math to life through art, creating unique artwork inspired by their understanding of the real number system.
From integers and rational numbers to irrational numbers, students showed that math can be creative, visual, and fun! ➕➖✨

PECMS celebrated our students with an Attendance Pop-Up, and the message was simple: showing up matters! 🙌
Students who showed up were surprised with prizes just for being here and ready to learn because every day at school is an opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed.

We want everyone to attend and enjoy high school sports! Please note that all Eagles who are not high school students must be accompanied by an adult to attend high school sporting events. Our students kicked off the year with interactive, hands-on activities as part of their baseline benchmark assessments. It has been wonderful watching them explore, engage, and showcase their skills as we settle into our learning routines.
We are off to a fantastic start and excited for the progress ahead! 📚✨
