Prince Edward County Public Schools honored employees for their years of dedicated service during the 2025-2026 Years of Service and Retirement Recognition Dinner. The event celebrated the commitment, professionalism, and lasting impact of staff members who have helped shape the lives of students and strengthen the school division.
This year's service award recipients were recognized for reaching significant career milestones ranging from five to fifty years of service.
Employees recognized for 5 years of service included:
Otis Bowles, Brenda Childress, Jacqueline Davis, Laroya Eanes-Walton, Zeta Edmond-Wright, Timothy Forsythe, Claudia Hernandez Flores, Priscilla Hicks, Brenda Holman, Dianna Hurt, Rosemary Jackson, Virginia Jones, Natalee Jones Anderson, Claudia Lilly-Campbell, Donna Matthews, Catherine Noraas, Kelsey Prosise, Emma Salinas-Lopez, Dean Schwartz, Donte Smithson, and Jenny Stanley.

Richard Goode was recognized for an extraordinary 40 years of service, while Alfred Washington Jr. was honored for an incredible 50 years of service to Prince Edward County Public Schools.
