Calendar Reminders: Prince Edward County Public Schools will have an early dismissal at 12:30 pm TODAY. Winter Break will be from December 18th to January 1st. Tuesday, January 2nd, is a Teacher Workday.
The countdown to winter break is over! Students and staff enjoyed the themed days and holiday celebrations. We miss our Eagles already!
The MS PTO organized a family luncheon this week. Students could invite two family members to join them for lunch. Missed your chance? Families can eat with their student during the school year. To join, call ahead, bring a valid ID, and remember, no outside food is allowed.
New teachers and teacher mentors met to celebrate the approaching conclusion of the first half of the year. Representatives from the College of Education, Health and Human Services were in attendance to discuss a new partnership with Longwood University. This partnership will support new teachers and provide monthly professional development opportunities.
Students and teachers from PECPS were invited by Prince Edward County to be part of a focus group for the county's comprehensive plan. Our Eagles provided valuable insight into Prince Edward County Public Schools. Thank you, Prince Edward County!

The rescheduled FeedMore food market is TODAY! Food distribution will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Firemen's Sports Arena. As a reminder, this event is free for anyone with a student currently enrolled at PECPS.

At the last school board meeting, Mrs. Carson, PECPS School Board chair, recognized Mrs. Womack, Dr. Varner, and Mrs. Forsythe for their service as school board members. 🌟 We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their leadership and continued support of PECPS. 🚀 STEM Night is TONIGHT! 🌐 Explore our amazing STEM stations with your family. Join us at the middle school on Tuesday, December 5th for dinner and STEM fun! Pre-registration is not required to attend! This event is suitable for ALL our Eagles.
We love for our Eagles to be here daily. The middle school recently held a drawing for attendance, and those students were invited to the library to pick a prize. Students are entered into the drawing every day they are present. #AttendanceMattersVA #SOAR
The countdown to winter break begins! MS and HS Eagles will enjoy two weeks of themed spirit days. Today's theme at the MS was 'Over the River & Through the Woods'; students wore camo/green. At the HS, today's theme was 'Candy Cane Day'; students wore red and white!
